Ella's Hope
High in the mountains of Estis an ancient stone marks a portal between mortals and angels.
The angels have long since stopped interfering in the matters of the world yet there are a group of select few who watch over the land below as powerful Guardians.
Each year the most promising individuals from across the lands are invited to take part in the Trials - their prize is to become a Candidate for Guardianship, to train amongst the clouds for a chance to join the elite ones.
Yet our story is not focused on those specially invited ones - instead meet Ella, a girl with a mysterious past having been found on the mountainside in a storm just under a year ago and now working as a maid in the local Inn.
Ella's Hope is full of adventure with 7 playable characters to discover and many quests ahead of you. The mystery of this girl's past is about to have a massive effect on her future.

Ella's Hope, is another great game from Aldorlea.A good game with good and incredible atmosphere, magical places and characters. The artworks are amazing and the musics also are good. Places were really fun to explore. Those are good features... cool small battle animations because of the side view battle system XD. In this game it features the true meaning of friendship, love and adventure, and of course... the past of a girl who suddenly had her life changed. I won't tell what happened... ^^ Play to find out. Now, what I dind't like in this game is some things that run from the other Aldorlea games, I mean... the new battle system is horrible to me, I mean, the characters just doesn't move... just blink and then something happen. I prefer to see their artwork instead of the sprites, even if the artworks also doesn't move, and because of this battle system... there were no monster artwork which was a bad thing. Other thing is that the battle theme is the same as Dreamscape, another Aldorlea game, which was also annoying. I like game musics, specially battle themes, so I would like if it had a new one. And another thing, it's that you can be lost while doing quests cause there's not a quest book. Well, that's it. |

I loved this game!The storyline is really nice! Although the end was really bad for me, but i think that had something to do with my decisions ingame. The controls with the mouse were also not perfect. In Aveyond when u click with the mouse u walk around walls to get there, but here it walk always into a wall. But u get the hang of it after a while only the lifetime of my mouse is greatly reduced haha. I liked the idea to do several quests and then come back to the clouds instead of walking on a full world and forgetting my directions. The NPCs were allright but the choice of armor and weapon was rather slim. But it was great fun and if u like these RPG adventure games this is one u cannot ignore! Thanks a lot for it. Guido |

So far so good. Ella's hope is a really great game by Eridani! The story is mysteriously so you're really want to know all about. And the quest is so great as well. Even the side quest is quite good. I agree this needs a Quest Journal so everyone who plays it could see the quest he/she is doing.The arts look beautiful and look same as real one (Even yeah..) But Skyzen did a really wonderful job there. The music is so sweet. And calming as well. It suits perfectly. I would definitely recommend some RPG Players this game. It's worth to try! You won't be dissapointed. |

Ella's hope was a wonderful game from start to finish! I really found the game enjoyable, and well worth the money. I found myself wanting to play again right away just to see if I could beat my previous quest/sky orb totals!I agree with some previous reviewers on the need for a quest book/journal, with so many different side quests to complete it was hard to find them all; which also made it a challenging game! I think that sometimes you didn't realize that a quest had been initiated just by saying hello to an NPC... All in all I would definitely recommend Ella's Hope to other RPG fans. The game was so unique, and intriguing. I loved all the chapters, and look forward to the next episode! Kudos to Eri for an awesome first game! The Aldorlea staff really knows how to create a wonderful and addicting game :) PS: I think Bokden should make an appearance in all upcoming Aldorlea Games!!! |
