I have played LS for a few hours.
The beginning is pretty intense. And it has the feeling of a large game. Somehow it feels that it is a beginning of a very long journey.
Plus the gameplay is actually difficult on the hardes difficulty. It is not easy to have enough gold.
The visuals are stunning, noticeably improved over any previous Aldorlea game.
And I love the guilds.

Hi Indi,

I am really enjoying the game so far except I'm having a bit of trouble with the game motion and battles "lagging" once I got to Azan and the Indinera Woods. I think my system is struggling with the graphics and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Any ideas or suggestions, please?

Go to a Save Book and change the battle system to Standard Turn Battle.
Go to the Options Menu and pick the following choices:

Show Battle Animations OFF
Battle Animation Speed NORMAL
Command Remember OFF
Effects Intensity 0%

Yup, that did the trick Now, I'm enjoying the game even more - and it's not taking me so loooong to get around or finish battles

I was able to play Night of the stars but not now cause I moved the game icon into a folder. Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it wont play cause of the same error message

I think this indicates something has changed with your computer and games you could play before, you cannot anymore.
In general the usual suspects are antiviruses and any kind of administration blocks your PC may run to prevent games from downloading or installing properly.

Try to right click on the exe and pick 'run as administrator'
