Hi there. I've been playing through the LF trilogy again, and I'm wondering if there's any characters in either LFI, II, or III that you can miss out on. I know there were a couple I missed in at least LFIII, for sure. If someone's already made a list, feel free to link me to that; otherwise, any information would appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure if there is a list, nor am I 100% sure which characters are mandatory for plot progression.

I know that Cocka-Cocka could easily be missed at the beginning of LF1.

In LF2, Cindy can potentially be missed if you do not make a donation shortly into chapter 7. (A lesser donation should only delay her arrival, but no donation at all may make it impossible to recruit her.)

Also, towards the very end of LF2, you need a "chocolate box" to recruit one last character. You have to buy one in the Mirsen district of Adretana, while you can still access the shop that sells them.

I think that's everybody, but not positive.

Hmm in LFIII, from what I can remember, there is Nash, Oglong, Lilly, Leanda in Chp. 13, Marilyis and Vanina depending on what you did in Chp. 1... That is all I think...

Oh, I forgot to tell how you could get them :P

Nash can be gotten as soon as you have Sarah for the first time. He is in a cave in Metrolian Wastelands near the Metrolian Counter.
Oglong is in Random's body. You need to talk to him a lot to get him join, and then not waster Luci's MP during the final fight.
Lilly can be gotten after Titanic in MSI, but I kinda forgot the quest to get her...
Leanda can be gotten in Chp. 13 if you got her in Chp.9, and if you steal her money so that she can't leave...
Marilyis joins sometime when you go to Ultai, don't remember when exactly...
Vanina joins in Rillian War Camp in Chp. 13...

LF3 is by far the best LF.
Only the Bang Burn/Mosquito part of LF2 can hold its ground against it, IMO.

Thanks. I helped out Vanina, but I also helped out Marylis, which I did not do the first time around, so hopefully I'll get her when the time comes.

Also, wasn't there a robot/android you can get? I think his name is Detruitium, but I'm not sure if he's secret or not. Can someone confirm this, please?

LP3 is also the best LP.
And IMO MM3 is the best MM lol

For some reason I think MM3 is the worst MM... But I still love it!

By the time I got around to LP3 I didn't know who half the characters were, or what was even going on. The technology was getting pretty dated, and there were too many characters, things, and places thrown at you before you could even get your bearings. If I had caught it when it first came out, I'm sure I would have gobbled it right up. Coming back to it umpteen years later with only a vague recollection of the first two, not so much.

I'll have to wait for the remake.

No remake of LP3 coming, ever lol (well mb not ever but not planned for sure)

Question about Leanda: Do you need to talk to her in LFII to get her in LFIII, or can you get her in LFIII without having met her in LFII?
