Hi Indi,

I just wanted to say before I get sidetracked by RL over the next few days, how much fun I am having playing LS.

The main story is wonderful so far - I am suspicious of EVERYONE - but I am also delighting in how you have sprinkled through the game what I am calling "Easter Eggs" in my mind. After all, it was Easter when you released it and they're like little fun "gifts"...and others are nasty little surprises +::biggrin

"Fun" Easter eggs include stumbling across extras in hidden rooms, including
Spoiler: show
#8 drinking the water
whereas a little nasty one in a crack in the crypt wall
Spoiler: show
beady little red eyes reducing your MP - repeatedly because I stupidly kept clicking on it +::lol
or a "mixed blessing"
Spoiler: show
#11 increase MDF but decrease Luck +::Dunno

Having played Fortress of Hell recently, I can really feel the horror element and the creepy vibes. I may not be able to play late at night before bed!!! +::fear Good thing I'm an early riser +::biggrin

I think you may well have outdone yourself with this one +::clap

Hi Indi,

Another small issue - noticed that when talking to the gardener, Barberis, in the Graveyard the Dark Orb in his inventory comes up as Equipment - Gloves with K-O Immunity. I double checked and the Dark Orb is not equip-able, nor does it confer immunity to K-O.
I only noticed it in this one place - haven't seen it earlier.

Boy, am I glad I didn't kill him though +::lol

PS Sorry, I should have put this under the Bugs topic +:::|

Fixed, thank you!

It's actually a Dark Gem and it's meant to be an accessory.

Glad you're loving the game so much - poured my heart and soul in the graphics and story (yeah, pun intended btw).

Someone suggested the following.

1. Find the file called "Package" and open it in Notepad. You may need to right click it and select "Open with..."
2. Using Notepad, add this line of code to the Package file:
CODE: SELECT ALL
"chromium-args": "--enable-webgl --ignore-gpu-blacklist",

Now, I have played a little of the demo. Love the graphics, and that I can use story mode, but was disappointed that the enemies are invisible, and that I loose HP when I step on certain white flowers, and didn't care for the "sun" effect which, in this case, was as if a camera caught the sun, and there is always that round rainbow-like effect at the left of the screen. Otherwise, loved it. :)

Glad to hear.
Goldies can be easily avoided in general, and monsters escaped, in Story Mode :)

I don't necessarily want to avoid enemies, but I like to see them. It's annoying when I am trying to find my way through the woods and am constantly confronted by invisible enemies. It makes me restless, and I can't concentrate on what I am doing, because I keep thinking "when and where do the next enemies appear".

After playing for 10+ hours, I can only say - the game feels soo much "Laxius".
It's dark, and the battles, gameplay and dialogues still have the (far more developed, of course) "vibe" of the original Laxius Power.

Spoiler: show
The descend into the darkness of the crypt is absolutely insane. Not even Fortress of Hell came close to this horror atmosphere.

You have 40 steps minimum, plus the usual luck of the draw (1-40 more steps, I suppose).
That's a range of 41-80 steps more or less between fights to perform your exploration needs +::Thumbup

I'm very glad to hear. I was aiming at that vintage Laxius Power style, with great production values and art.

I also tried to nail down the "horror" aspects. Odessa was very helpful in that regard, a paving stone to what LS is.
I suppose the "horror" in LS is, in the end, a mix of Odessa and Fortress of Hell.
