Sooooooo ..... if I play Pure Nightmare, then in the next game that Hell World will be unlocked? I don't have to play Pure Nightmare PLUS all the other modes?

Play nightmare from scratch, never use Pinkie, finish -> Hell Mode +::wizard

I did finish Nightmare, but not from scratch. Without healing up 25HP after each round .... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

it requires a lot of tactic. also the beginning can be tricky so reload if you get unlucky. once it gets rolling, it's mostly tactics though, and going to the right place at the right moment.

I did get along quite well at the beginning.
I've been reloading countless times though. Whenever a fight began bad I hit F12 and replayed it until I got away with as little damage as possible. Sometimes I've been playing a single fight like 20 times. But that way I got along without needing a whole lot of restoratives. Which of course would be different in Pure Nightmare as I would only restore 5HP after each battle.
As for going to the right location at the right time - I guess I know that game by heart now, lol. I know very well what order for me would be best.
And I have to confess, I left all the Dreamlords be. And I kept all my Magical Hourglasses until the end and then just snuck past the last encounters to reach Terry. +:oops:

My advice, always buy as many permanent increasers as possible (starting with the cheapest of course)

Ha, see, I haven't bought even one! And still made it! So next time for Pure Nightmare that's something I can still do to compensate the missing Health Catalyst!
The only thing I ever bought in that game was that stuff that is supposed to heal Venom and Ill.
BUT as of Dream Mode that stuff wouldn't work anymore! Not sure if that's intended, but I had no way of healing Venom during a fight cause it just didn't work.
In Nightmare Mode I didn't even try it anymore, so not sure if it works there.

Certainly not. But I always want to keep a little bonus for later, in case I'm not getting along anymore. I'm always afraid I use something ahead of time when I might need it more later. Or I might give the items to the wrong characters, when someone else might need it more later. Or I spend my money on stuff and don't have enough later for more important things .......
I considered going back after reaching Terry and get all I could to boost them and kill of the remaining monsters, but then I just couldn't get myself to do that. I played that mode to get my last character, for no other reason. I don't really enjoy such incredibly hard fights. The normal monsters were doable, but the Dreamlords were just too hard. They would wipe my party out and the one I fought left me with almost no HP. I don't even want to know what would happen if I fought Shya and Exafract together! +::fear

but... permanents... just give me to whoever is the most useful or spread them sort of evenly (i do that too, sometimes)
the pt being, buy them all ASAP!!!
