I'm in New York and just jumped over some spikes, and a fish just started talking to me? I haven't met this character yet...

I thought I had tracked them all, thanks for pointing this one out.
It will be fixed in the next update.

I found Clochette. She is a flower with cheeky cheeks. I like the magical headphones. It is quite creative. Nice RPG for sure and nice change from other RPG's.

can we use the headphones on Clochette too?

You can use headphones on all your characters. But this game is very different to any other and you need a slightly different strategy. I just went along playing it like a normal RPG picking up everything I found, then when I came out battered from a battle with a dreamlord I had nothing to repair me. So only pick up what you need and leave the rest for another day. Clochette' s dream can probably be left until you need repair items.

However as last resort if you are out of supplies, there is always the Healing Crystal (aka your free Inn ^^) at the beginning of the game.
That means you can play it both ways: as a typical RPG or as intended with its innovative gameplay.
