Troubleshooting: can't play a game from Aldorlea?

I managed to grope my way back to the ruins screen, where the lighting was normal. When I went down again, the screen was normal. It turned dark again near the Velaus bridge, but once I crossed the bridge and reached Velaus, the lighting returned to normal. Next time I get stuck in the dark, I'll try to send you a save file. It reminds me of the one screen near the end of the game where everything turns bright yellow if you step on the wrong square.

No, my party had gone down from the ruins of Metrolia (with the seven Unforgiven Bones) and was on its way to the nomad town. This was the land of the many bridges and the big spiderweb that they had to go through.
I forgot to got the Reeker Bulb before crossing the chasm at the end of The Path of the Dreaded, so Yveen didn't give Random the Purity Ring. +::Annoyed That was many game hours ago.

When I go to full screen when playing Opaline, the game screen flickers rapidly and I have to revert to windowed mode. Unfortunately, that window is way too small to play the game. The same situation occurs with Ashes of Immortality. Moonchild, however, plays just fine.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to resolve it?

And before anyone wastes their time suggesting it, all my drivers are up to date. I'm running Windows XP, SP3 with a Radeon HD 4670 video card, 2GB RAM, and a 1080P Full HD Viewsonic monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080. I tried lowering the screen resolution to 1024x768, but that did not help.

I'm not sure what causes it (maybe Tomas can help? :)) but for your information, Moonchild uses a different engine from Opaline and Ashes of Immortality, so them not behaving the same is not such a surprise.

Hi, I bought Laxius Force 2 from Green man Gaming but for some reason, I can't get it to launch in Win 8. When pressing play in Capsule , nothing happens. I've also tried to launch it from a desktop shortcut to no avail even after trying every compatibility mode available and running as administrator.. The mouse activity circle runs a few seconds, then nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does it work if you download it from this site?

ok, I installed fresh to a new directory after uninstalling the previous Green man gaming version. The program still refuses to launch in either Win 8 or any of the 3 compatibility modes. A window pops up in some modes saying it's a trial version and needs a key which the gaming site says is not available for this software. Clicking continue trial mode pops up an error box saying "RGSS player has stopped working". That's it, Maybe a registered version will work, I don't know. How do I go about getting a key?

You get a key if you purchase the game. In the case of LF2:
