Does this mean that Gravitron can not be repaired after the Orc Fortress is destroyed? I am so stuck and at present I am in the Castle of Malice and need Gravitron to get through the door. Thanks for helping (again).

He can be repaired. Just go to the ancient temple, when needed.

I tried this out but was disappointed. Once you've killed the Orc Lord you cannot leave the Orcish Fortress with any dynamite. What's the advantage of leaving the Fortress standing, other than to have a training ground? Even if a veteran orc drops another dynamite during a later return to the Fortress, you can't get out with it and must use it up before leaving...

I fought the orc boss in the forbidden zone and can use the lift now.

Could this possibly have been fixed lately? I downloaded the game yesterday and am now at the lift. I have 6 dynamites left but using it doesn't work for me. There still remain 6.

Yes, I know, it's all done. Still I couldn't get rid of the dynamite by just using it.
Doesn't matter anymore. I wasted it another way. I used it on this door in SR #19. This way I could leave the fortress without destroying it.

How did you get back to the entrails after blowing up the fortress?

You can't. If you want to get back there, you mustn't blow it up. That means you must get rid of your dynamite before leaving the fortress. There's a door somewhere down there, and if you use dynamite on it, nothing happens. That way you can use it up.

Does it matter that I cannot now get Hilraldo, and where do I get Gravitron?

Who's Hilraldo?
Not sure anymore when they'll join, but you can't miss them. In MM there are no optional characters.
