Figured out why I couldn't progress with lost library quest. Salome needs to be in mermaid form when you talk to the witches. Hooray!

I don't think that's true, is it? I never have Salome in my party so I never bother to transform her. I just left the swamp and then went back in and then I could talk to the witches.

Can someone please tell me where the sister is or how far in the game you have to be for her to be at Mani's shack? I am about to go to desert of souls.

I'm not 100% sure but I think she only appears after you come out of the Castle of Malice to go get Gravitron repaired.

She appears after you speak to Mazurine in the desert of souls.
