demon orb - stuck

i am in malice castle and need to jump with air sandals...
the problem is that somehow i had demon orb as in "other" secton of equip - i cant get rid of it. i can not change it...
i can change evere weapon but not the demon orb.
should'nt there is a worning about it?
and if not - can i jump in malice castle without air sandals?
what shall i do?

It's a cursed item, go to one of the Shrine of Mysts and remove the cursed item.
