How to inflict boredom ? I tried using philosophical pages but it didn't work on many characters

Iirc you only have to use it on Marine. Make sure you have the latest version of the game, because the was a bug in an older version.

No, it doesn't want to work. I re-downloaded but it's the same problem.

You may need to try several times cuz Marine is very resistant to Boredom lol

Can we get any more philosophy pages??? I used mine all and now can’t make anyone bored! Also, Graviton has disappeared from my character list. I did one of the book quests (Heroes Never Die, I think it was) and alas no more Graviton. Is this a glitch??

I found them in two places - Secret room 7 and 30

I downloaded the latest version, but it's the same. I can't bore marine, Benoit, Merline and zezabel. It's seem to work for me only on characters who can't be promoted.

Yeah, I noticed that too - things like boredom and coldness don't show up for characters who are promoted, making it hard to know if they actually are bored/cold etc.

I'm having the same issue. I re-downloaded the game yesterday. I have removed all of Marine's equipment. I have 44 of those pages and keep re-loading and re-trying but I can't inflict boredom on her



Ahhh thanks Ninaboo I hadn't thought of that. Shall try again and see what happens

I know what you mean...lol I always go to stats after a battle to see who needs fixin'.

The purple cats with the horns or whatever they are periodically cast a spell that causes boredom. If you don't have any more Philosophical pages go and fight them. Take Marine's equipment off and just have her heal or defend. Don't have a fighter in the party who is going to wipe them out in seconds.

It's a harder way to do it, but it can be done.

Thanks dee! Can you refresh my memory as to where these purple cats with the horns are? I'm getting a bit annoyed with all this as I went back to the swamp to get the book from the witch behind the tree and it's not being offered any more. Graviton has disappeared and I don't have any more dynamite and we can't buy it anywhere. So how in blazes can I solve a lot of these quests?

They are in the same area as the Guild of Speed and also the same area as the Headquarters.
