Pit of Malice

I couldn't kill the dragon, and I'm actually with all others in pit of Malice. Can I do something to get out from this place or is it the end of my actual party ?

You don't need to kill the dragon when he appears after that scene, you just need to do a lot of damage on him and then he'll run.

To get out of the pit, have Marine talk to her party members...
