Sorry for asking so many questions, but I have another one. I read somewhere that the lost orb was in a witch coven, but I've searched the whole swamp to no avail! Any hints?

I think you have to go through the portal to the far left. I believe its in the area where there's nothing but a chest.
Don't know if that will help at all.

Found it!

I've touched every square inch inside the room where the colored stars are but no orbs are dropping. Is there a sequence or specific requirement equipment-wise to get them to drop?

I think you need to send me your savefile so I can edit, as it appears there is a glitch in that quest.

In preparation for MM5 release, I started the series over in "hard mode" & now I end up with the same problem with this quest (orbs not dropping in library). Would it be possible to rename the previous save file you edited or do I need to send you a copy of the current one? Also, is there a way to fix this so I do NOT have to keep bugging you if I want to play this game again?

I think I've updated this by now.
Just redownloading and reinstalling MM3 should do the trick.
