Ancient Temple

So far I'm moving along pretty good....I've already gone and spoken to Mazurine, and now I need to head to the Dragon; which I know exactly where he is at! My question is what is with the Ancient Temple?? Is this something I should complete before moving onto the dragon, or will the Temple come up later in the game??

You will have to go to the ancient temple after to fix Gravitron later, but only if you progressed further enough in the Castle of Malice.

So I need to be sure to explore the Castle of Malice thoroughly to find Graviton!! Gotcha!

Oh, you're not playing a imported save file?

In the castle, you need to find a big door where the party will talk a little and then you will have to go to the Ancient Temple.
