Hi. Okay, I just started MM3, I was at Elldoran cliffs when I realized my Marine is not counter-hitting. She is a Wild Goose (Always has been, and always will be, I just can't get myself to change Wild Goose. I love it! ) So, Wild Goose should be able to counter-hit, but no, she can't. She was doing it perfectly well in MM2, the counter-hitting, but now, she just isn't.

Hey, sorry for the necro post, but I’m having the same issue. I chose Wild Goose in both 1 and 2, and in 3 when I imported my save it imported the promotion status, but Marine isn’t countering.

Loving the game series! It’s super cool seeing how it all progresses from game to game .

That said, the so many years part is also the problem there, I'm not too sure why this would be happening, as I don't remember touching the promotion from 2 to 3.
Is there a way to check that she still has Wild Goose actually? Maybe she doesn't have it anymore at all...

From what I can tell via the status page she does; it’s listed under promotion, and if I go to a temple I can’t choose a promotion for her. This is the Steam version, if that helps at all?

I completely understand that it’s been a huge gap of time and that this might not be fixable; figured it was worth replying here on this thread since it was someone with the same issue.

While I don’t post here much I’ve been a fan since Dreamscape and own I think every title that’s on Steam, and am finally having the time to get around to this series as it’s been a bit daunting having five of them all out and waiting. I’m really impressed with how strategic everything is on Hard mode, really makes you think about how to use all the tools available
