Gifting - The Price is Right!!

Gifting - The Price is Right!!

Here is a rather unusual practical question!! I have a friend I would like to give LF3 to as a
special "present"!! Is there any way to buy the game and "gift" it to another person??? What
a perfect, yet different, Thank-you or Love You present it would make!!! +::Thumbup

Just buy the game twice and give him one of the serial numbers, it shouldn't be a problem, if that's what you meant.

Oh??? I thought it somehow connected to your email address when you ordered it and would
only allow you to use the code number on that computer!!

You could send them an online card and tell them to expect an email and where from and how to download it. That's what I did with my daughter when I gave her one of the games (don't remember which one +:::|

Nope, the serial number works on any computer. I'm sure of it because I played LF on both my computer and notebook.

Yep, sure does!! I've used it on both also, so that I could play while on vacation! +::clap

Just be careful, if they will die of starvation while playing LF3, you will be fully responsible for this. +::biggrin

Just remember to give them the first two before LF3 so that they know what the heck is going on. :)

I think give 3SoD first. It's the beginning. If that person didn't play LF series give 3SoD. :)

Wow, Loof............I can take care of birthdays, anniversaries, christmas, and a few other
things by giving the whole series!!! Guess you're right about 3S. But I imagine Indy has figured
out a way to fill in folks who haven't played any of them before so they won't be totally lost!!
I noticed that before in LF1 and LF2, so I think it's possible to play LF3 first, and it very well
may happen in some cases!!! +::Thumbup

You can even do it anon! I did that once. Won't say when or for what game, but it was nice to be able to do so.

I must say that I have played most of the series now and 3SoD is STILL my favorite! If I were gifting (and I admit I am really liking this idea) I would start with the flagship and work them through it. It is very easy to follow and you could send them a link to the walkthrough so they could make their way into the whole RPG thing from matching 3 colors of jewels!!!(Boring!!!)
