Arena Error

I am in Chapter 13 and trying to get most of my characters through the arena before the global wars. Adon and Angelina were "fused" so Adon now has her multi-hit spell. When I go to the arena and have Adon use the spell with the Arcanum and his lion, Adon says something like "hoo-hoo" and then this error pops up:
