SUMMARY:

I like the game so far but have a problem...I'm on the snow island trying to get into the shrine (top) the door on the left(top) shows message, Unable to find graphics/characters etc, then shuts down the game. Help

Hi, Poutlaw, it depends on what kind of a player you are, I guess. The Dragon Queen has many places to explore and it's nto a linear experience either, which can increase the playtime greatly depending on where you decide to go and under which order. The dungeons are big and there are also sidequests...

It's hard to gauge that with precision.

I was wondering if there was a map available for the sewers? I have been wandering around for 2 full days now and can't find my way out. I've already freed Lavitra, but I am most definitely stuck!

Exiting the nest, from where you freed Lavitra, keep moving to your left (yours, not the character's ), when you hit the corner make your way, north. That's where you will find the ladder exiting the sewers.

Is there a trick to landing the dragon?

Once you have the dragon you can't land anymore, but you don't have to. You can access all areas flying him. You just have to fly over the location you want to enter.
