Please update to the latest version using the patch on the game's website's Goodies page. :) The current latest version is 1.045, but I will release a big update later today (1.05). You might want to wait for that.

By the way, in the future it's probably best to ask such questions on the game's message boards to receive the quickest answer. :)

I played this game a few months ago but the game was riddled with bugs.

I had version I think 1.5 or something.

The game looked really nice and I liked the skills tree.
The game had some very confusing maps which were good.

I stopped playing it because the developer site was down or no response and I was waiting for an update.

So hopefully in the next few months I will get an update so I can finish it.

Geez :)

I haven't finished this game yet 'coz I had a problem with ending up in the ocean after the flaming inn thing and when I fixed it, my save wouldn't work anymore. T.T

However, it's a nice game. GRaphics are the bomb! +::biggrin Though, really... can't Rose walk faster? Sorry, I just think she walk really slowly... +

Apparently the game is back, and ready for playing from A to Z.

Also the author says previous buyers can upgrade to the complete version for free.... I guess you just have to download the game and use your key from last year.

Feel free to kick me out of the forum for this but no, this developer does not get a free pass on my book!

Releasing a game being fully aware of its incomplete and full of errors status but still doing it to get money and then disappearing with said money only to come back a year later with no apology or manifestation of regret whatsoever and a game that says "Gold" on the title like having an actual working and complete game for sale is some sort of bonus nowadays is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

"previous buyers can upgrade to the complete version for free"
Is this a joke? I mean it's almost like he's doing the players a favour, when in fact he has had their money all along!

I don't know what's going on with everyone and why he just gets away with it so easily. In many different professions people would lose their jobs forever for this. In this case he gets a pat in the back and a welcome on board!
So overall what everyone is saying is the end justifies the means. He did wrong but since now the game is complete, then it's all ok!

Well here's a thought, if you're in need of money to complete the game, try dividing it in chapters or otherwise release an extended demo and name it for what it is and give players a chance to buy the full game in advance - that would be the legal and morally acceptable way to do exactly what was done!

I apologize to fellow forum members for the anger imparted in this post (I can be a fiery bug indeed) but these things get to me - morals and ethics are a big part of my life and seeing things like this happen bring me to a boil!

Furthermore, I would be less offended if at least a sign of true regret was shown but if there is any, it's very obscure!

Hmmm. Interesting Ladybug... you know how much I respect your opinion, and I'm in total
agreement. I just downloaded the game to "check it out", and had to force myself to finish
the free hour. It was excruciatingly slow and jerky, the graphics were terrible, and it just
appeared so "amateur". It was nothing like the screenshots. What's up with that? Did a different
game get posted than the one offered? I certainly won't be buying this game, and I must say
it certainly makes you appreciate Indy and his wonderful games! They are all beautiful, clean
and creative!!! Love you, Indy.....you are by far THE BEST!! +::YAY +::YAY +::heart

I was burnt with this game last year and no amount of reassurance would make me try it again even giving me the upgrade I will not be trying it. The saying is fool me once shame on you - fool me twice shame on me.

You may want to give a chance to Arvale II and Vastar if you pass on Whisper of a Rose.

I have to agree. This game is nothing like it shows in the screenshots, unless it changes later in the game, but getting to the later is the hard part. A huge disappointment!
