OMG!
Just tried to enter shrine and got same error message as DSquall! ughhh
I uninstalled and reinstalled this morning and started ALL over again.
I hope I do not have to do that again.
Help please???

I can't solve the Chiyo shrine rock puzzle either, and have moved those rocks around just about everywhere. Any hints?

I thought of putting the rocks around the the wardrobe, where once the flames was, in the two flames blocking a passage, in the three flames blocking the passage while I stand in the middle and nothing.

I too am stuck in the shrine with that rock puzzle and just getting annoyed now.
Now that so many of have asked for help will you please at least give us a hint?

Same here D-Squall,
I even tried pushing through to scene where 2 statues are in the 1st scene. Well of course the screen changed and I was right back where I started . sheese
Has anyone solved this yet???? I'm about ready to give up.

Hey guys,
I noticed some of you missed the side-quests so I'll post where they start here, they give nice rewards, unique items that are nice additions to your heroes.

Haru Village - Old Lady walking by the village.
Kurokabe Castle - After you return from Matsuo Catacombs there is a soldier inside the castle who needs help.
Matsuo Catacombs - The man inside one of the cells also has a quest.
Yori City - After Jun recovers from Naga's attack speak to the dying man in one of the residences.
Also, the merchant by the docks, he also needs help.
Azima Checkpoint - When you're ready to leave to Mt. Amaya, there is a scholar walking in the entrance of the checkpoint in need of assistance.

I am also stuck, and I keep trying, but it is frustrating. I have 99 energy drops just from trying those blocks and starting over again. I have never felt the need to post before due to this wonderful forum having the answers to any of my questions from all the games I own. This time I had to register! How do you solve this?

solved problem with saves from original version reloading....on checking compatibility files found the original saves present ...deleted them and now only load save files from updated version of game..sorry for the trouble..was driving me loopy..a baldheaded lady is not a pretty sight..rofl

Stuck on rock puzzle also. Anyone solve it yet?

Nope, just came in from cleaning up after Hurricane Irene and I find the game more frustrating than cleaning the million leaves in my pool! LOL! I went back to talk to everyone again, back to the guy to check on the side quest, he wants a "cat" figurine (Ithink, I forget easily), it is supposed to be in the Shrine. Went in the shrine and clicked on every tile, tried many combos with the silver balls as everyone else here has tried. I have officially given up!
