I posted this same question over at Warfare studios so I hope someone can help. I am on Mt. Kami 3 and can't figure out how to go forward from here. There is a lava pool and a spiked passageway and a black rock that I can shove around. I just can't figure out what to do with it. There are no obvious switches and the black rock won't go into the pool or on to the spikes. So, can I get some advice? Thanks.

I bought the first version. Is there a continue from the first game to this game?

No there isn't.
About the rock puzzle just push it all the way up until it hits the wall.

so it's a new episode ala Final Fantasy, ie not related at all to the first one in terms of story?

No, it's a direct sequel you just can't import the save files from the first old one.

Why asked to save in the end of the first episode if we can't import? Where is the place that Lady Asuka told Jun to go in order to make the secret meeting? And why some doors when you open them, they just open instead of opening and taking you to the place beyond the door? A example of that is at the Imperial Mother palace in the throne room where the Mother is, after getting back from the burned village, talked to her and rest that is what happens to the door. A bug?

I'm enjoying Shining Plume 2 demo right now. I think I will wait to see if there are any bugs before I purchase though.

It could be that its going somewhere but I notice when I pick up bamboo that it keeps disappearing from my inventory. I'm in the first glen and I've picked up 3-4 bamboo yet my inventory shows only 1. Is this supposed to happen. (I answered my own question. I noticed they go toward what it is they are needed for.)

Am really enjoying the game too! Though, I don't seem to be able to get through the sealed gate even with the stone of death.....it just shudders and does nothing. Can anyone give me a clue as to what I should do? Please.

I'm currently stuck at the imperial palace...the lady came to tell jun to meet her the next day somewhere but I can't seem to remember where xD and I can't find it either...where am I supposed to go?

If you go into the dungeon and move to the right side and go up the stairs and through a door at the top you'll meet up with Lady Asaka.
