Not at all for now. There will come a point in the game when you know you have to remove it, but you can't until then.

There's a clown that wants you to find his notes. You must collect them and as a reward he gives you vouchers.

i figured that out when i gave him his pages i m trying to figure out the magic spade where to use it at and the gift for the gnome

You must equip the spade, I think on Miriel, and then just walk around.
There are some screenshots on Eri's, but there are more to find. Don't think you can get all though before the captain won't give you the spade anymore.
