Have you worked out what the cards are for yet - I thought they may be tarot cards- so I am not using mine+:

I'm not sure but I dont think you get the cards until you get the quest from some man in So Slum. It says you get
experience if you use them but maybe one should try taking them back to the man to see what happens. I have landed back at so slum with the ship I finally got so I will find where he is and then post here what happens.

ok the man is in the pub in so slum the one with the glasses and blue cape that you see as you walk into the pub of tothe left (some say right but its the left). I just went there and he said to keep collecting. So either use them or collect them
I dont know what happens when you have collected all of them or how many to collect the man didnt say

Okay I have collected so far: pirate cards x8, zombie x 6; witch queen x 2; vampire elder x 1; knight x 5; assassin x ; archer x 5; imp x 1; fairy x 4
also soul balls- green; blue; black; have no idea what they are for
a wooden box (says quest item but what quest?)
Any suggestions would be a help

I dont know what all those are for yet. I'm at the part past raven skull, a zombie is helping to get away and cant get past
the fight yet also cant go backwards. Looks like we have to try to help each other out. Maybe adams busy making
a walkthru or doing something else that is in need of being done. Or could be having trouble getting into this forum.

I finished the game, and never did find out what the cards, nor the orbs are for.

I've reached the Lost Temple and I'm having problems in the maze in the dark with the flames. Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm talking to the game. Help.

You just have to go up and down, from side to side, as the screen allows you.
It took me a while to get through it too.

How does one get into castle noir thru that ground entrance off to the side? I tried to go thru the door inside the middle one but cant?

I Did tgry to take teh cards to the man who gave the quest and all he said was " keep collecting".

Theres no hwlp no where for this game. Now thats incompetent. Try to be nice then you get squat.
Now thats one thign to avoid being like in the future is like the ones who made this game.

I started playing this game tonight, bought it, and am continuing to play it. Really need to go to bed, but it's so much fun that it's hard to stop.

Wondering if someone can direct me to a merchant where I can purchase lock picks or if the only way to get them is to find them lying about as I've done so far. Haven't seen any for sale and thought perhaps someone could give me a push in the right direction.

As far as the cards, I've just been using mine for the experience. I didn't get the impression that they were for anything special other than that.

I know I'm coming into the game a little late, and it's possible that no one else is still playing it. If so, I understand; and, thanks anyway.

Well, since it doesn't appear that anyone (including the dev) is watching this board anymore, I thought I'd leave an answer to my own question in case someone else comes here looking for help as I did. As far as lockpicks go, you do get 50 of them when you go to do a quest for the thieves' guild. Also, you can buy them from the vendor in the Thieves' Guild.
