Nope, it should work like a traditional BMT game.

When I started to buy it via PayPal, it gave a price of $7.49 and specified Stream Key, so I didn't complete the purchase.

I'm trying the Demo and am wondering when the characters gain skills and magic. I choose Xia as my main character whose supposed to be a mage and I have no skills or magic showing and I'm at level 6. Is this right or is it because I'm playing at Casual level. It's just attack in every battle nothing else! Boring!

You can go to the Corridor of Origins from the Frontier. Press "A" and you will be there. Lit the crystals to learn the skill you desire.

Sorry, currently there is no DRM-free version for DarkEnd. :(

You should make a stand-alone version for people who are not interested in playing this through an interface (be it Steam or anything else).

Making it now. Don't want to leave out the people who want to play it.

The stand alone version is up and running.

Sorry for the confusion. Please feel free to tell me if you run into any trouble.

NOTE: You need to redownload the standalone version of the game again (the download link has been updated) to be able to activate the key. Uninstall the old demo which was designed for Steam.

If we purchased the steam version, is there a way to get the non steam version without purchasing another copy?
