Hi there Nyx. Is there an error or something that pops up? The installer seems to work fine for me.

Nyx, I've sent you a PM with a link to a version that doesn't use the installer. Hopefully this will work for you.

I finished the quest for cleaning out the monster at the arena. Scipio's Gambit Quest now says: 'Return to the pub in Kariid for your reward.' Yet, when I go to the barmaid, she doesn't mention this quest. She merely offers a new quest, 'Bump in the Night,' and the Scipio quest doesn't clear.

I am disappointed that my characters imported at full level (30) and can't advance, but I do appreciate the Calming Harp that makes it easier to explore and map the dungeons.

Hi Lady JJ,

I've taken a look at the barmaid's code, and it appears that once Bump In the Night unlocks, it does indeed prevent you from getting the reward from Scipio's Gambit. It's all a matter of timing - if you do Scipio's Gambit BEFORE unlocking Bump In The Night it works fine, but if you don't, she'll forget about Scipio's Gambit entirely, as you've described.

It should be easy to fix, but if it's any consolation you didn't really miss anything. The real reward from that quest is the sigil you got from the dungeon. All the barmaid has to offer is some cash ;)

Also, regarding level, I didn't really anticipate someone importing in max level characters. The game's designed so you'll advanced 10 levels (roughly) in each episode, so the plan is to come into Ep 3 at level 20 and get to level 30 by the end. By level 30, your characters will have learned all of their skills and so there isn't really any "point" to advancing further. That said, it wouldn't be hard for me to maybe increase the levels to 40 just in case someone comes in at 30. You wouldn't have any skills to learn, but you could still advance!

Thanks for your feedback :)

The only thing I really miss in leveling is the increase in stat points (attack, defense, etc.) and hit/spell points. Since I can now buy runes for these increases, the battles are again worth the effort. Thanks for the reply.

I downloaded the demo - and I think the difficulty level is not working!

I've chosen the easiest - casual - it doesn't seem right - in the very first mission(bandits) - the enemy are times stronger - cannot win any fight - I think it's stuck on the "torture" level
