Fantasy Heroes is the second game by Lumen, following Luminescence, which received positive feedback from the Aldorlea community.

SUMMARY:

Fantasy Heroes follows the adventures of Tristan, a knight of the kingdom of Kayzerhart, and Melanie, his chance buddy, who are both soon engulfed in a massive conflict that could very well threaten the whole world.
How can Tristan cope with his knightly duties while dealing with the impending threat?
Of all the people he'll meet along his adventure, who will be a friend, and who will be a foe?
Fantasy Heroes is a retro 2D RPG by the makers of Luminescence and in the vein of the old classics you loved.

How do you save? I wanted to stop but couldn't find a save option. Though here does seem to be an autosave occasionally. I'm playing the demo at the moment.

There are some little sparkling dots by the first town. I found some more at a farm in the mountains and again close to the frozen town. I wish you could save anywhere! I finished the demo and now going to buy it.

The game also autosaves each time you change map (except if it's during a cut scene).

I sent it to you and then tried it again and it finally installed protesting all the way. my virus protector (AVG) just likes to give me a hard time with new games. +::cry

Am I a beta tester? I did pay for the game. I went in the hut and as I was going down the ladder This happened,

Hi Lumen, and thanks for this new game. Not sure, though, why there are so many poisonous areas (the dark green patches) where I loose HP when I walk over them.

One bug: When I was at the hermit's hut, where the demo ended, I went to the right, across the small bridge and to the top left, where I saw some smoke and where I was able to find a potion. I then turned around to go back down, and there was supposed to be an enemy I should have battled, but only an error message came up, saying the following:

Unable to find file:
Graphics/Battlers/3b

Clicking "OK" on that error message then closed down the game.

I stopped by to report the missing graphic file and can see it is already fixed.

This is a nice game and I am having a good time when playing it.
