Try positioning yourselves to the closets spot next to it from the south side, I literally mean one tile below the Phoenix, once you're positioned there, hit confirm. Lemme know if that works?
I think the way the sprite itself is positioned might be giving the illusion that is it is positioned a tile up than where it actually is.

Phoenix Issue

Finally was able to board the Phoenix!! Basically had to approach from below and just below the Phoenix feet!

Del, when fighting the enemy it would be good to have fight escape and auto so one can just hit auto and all characters will attack instead of clicking 4 times

You see the spot between two mountain right below the phoenix? Can you try hitting confirm there, or clicking with the mouse there, to see if it works? Hitting confirm with the the Enter key should be easier...
