Q284 Silent bob - Secret Guild
- he's right over to the left
- choose your party wisely, you can get +2 lvl

Do I need to have certain people in my party or have them equipped with certain items (I do have Random with the Luck Ring).
All I get is a quest complete, no level ups!

I think what he means is 2 quest complete not 2 lvls, he gives you like 2 free quest completions. If you have the fighter guild training then random actually does get some permanent boosts from doing quests, and broff also gets some items from doing quests so those are good uses of jay.

I just assumed it was like:

Q280 Get 99 of all items - Secret Guild
- From adretana general store
- choose your party wisely, equip luck ring on Random, you get +3 LVL!

because I did get +3 levels for that one. After I did the Silent Bob quest, I checked Random's quest count and it only went up 1 level.

Sorry, my bad. I got a quest done twice, like puzzled said. I'll update the list, thanks for the catch.

Sorry, I'm still confused. I checked my stats (f8) right before I completed this quest (Silent Bob). Random had 166. When I complete the quest Random has 167 done (f8) (but he says 165 as he is getting the reward...?). I also had Herasia in my party with 13 done before and 14 done after (but she says something like "thats 13 for me"). I think the count is off somehow, but anyway I only get 1 quest complete when I do this quest.
So I'm not sure what you and puzzled mean by "quest done twice". Where do you see this?

Talk to him repeatedly, he just hands you free quests done. He did it twice for me, that's what I mean.

Actually I knew the right answer and accidentally gave another. He got mad at me for lying and I insisted and he felt sorry for me and gave me two quests completed. I reloaded, gave the right answer and he only gave me one. i just wrote it off as yet another quirk lol.

Oh I gave him the wrong answer and he gave me 2 quests, I did not know there was a right answer lol.

Ok, I finally got the 2 quest completes! I had answered each time and reloaded until I got the correct answer. I never tried to talk to him a second time after I gave the wrong answer.

Yeah I just remembered another non questbook quest; it's in the hall of madness, after you've taken your pick at revival. I think that right after you go in, through a path to the left there's a little girl and a bunch of cats. She tells you that if you talk to each of them she will give you something. Do it, i don't remember what she gives you, it might just be xp and you get a quest completed but most of the cats talk in lolcats and it's hilarious. Also, through the path to the right there's a chest and a portal-like thing that gives you lots of magicka potions as long as you keep clicking.''

Here's a free quest done:

When you enter Kondler for the first time, you get a Quest done for your party. So set the party correctly when leaving the mid-ocean place, and you get +1 Quest!
