Well, one could say a lot about this. Over the time I've noticed that Millennium is not more popular than LF, both are quite even. It's not like MM is "undeniably more popular", regardless of it being undeniably prettier lol
Neal (the reviewer) however always weights and balances everything in his game reviews and this is probably where LF loses ground to, say, Millennium. A 85% tells a lot about the game's content and story when graphics and musics, in his opinion, stumble to scores in the 70s. I also assume he is more sensitive to efforts made in the graphics and music (seems anyway like any and all reviewers are more sensitive to that than length or depth).
LF is not eye-candy, more brain-candy, and that's kinda what the review says. It's true it could have been longer, but I can't really blame the guy for that, he is quite fair and in-depth as a reviewer, plus he does play fully the games he has to review.
