I have finished the Bear quest, but the game fast forwards me to the point where I cannot re-enter the sunken city...so far. Any suggestions on timing? Is there a point where we can re-enter the sunken city?

Never mind. I found the right save file to allow me to get back into the sunken city. Glad for the 15 save slots

once you have the bear, you can not reenter the sunken city the moment you enter or pass the grand rift.
