I had the same issue a while ago with Windows Vista.
I did this(it may not work for everyone)
error while unpacking program code 2. please report to author.
Reinstall your anti-virus program. It happens when you perform Microsoft update. Remove antivirus from add/remove programs. Go to antivirus web site (scuh as pctool.com etc) and download latest antivirus and install. You will see the error is gone. Hope this help.
Also I use a free program called CCleaner. It does a great job cleaning your registry and other files especially if you uninstall something. CCleaner is one of the best legitimate cleaners that is free. I have been using CCleaner for years with no issues.
Also never let a website download or install something that promises to "fix your registry". This is very dangerous and almost all are scams. It will do more harm on your computer and if you did not make backups you will end up with serious computer issues.
Oh by the way I hate Vista. Windows 7 is much more stable and even Windows XP is better than Windows Vista.
