Any tips for killing the Shoo King? He wipes me out before I can get any hits in! My strongest players are Bokden, Marine, Benoit and Salome, all lv46 or 47, hard mode. I tried with Karine, see if her black orb is any good, but she's only lv37 and can't get a hit in... I really REALLY want to beat this thing before I go on, but not a clue where to start...

You could try equipping them with something that give them first strike if you have enough items that you can equip all of them. Or just give it to the person who has the best chance of stunning or breaking armor like Benoit. Just a thought.

I have very little equipment in this game. Did manage to give a couple of people first strike, but Benoit's skills never work on the Shoo king and any hit I do get in is 15HP at best... So annoying that he's gone when you're back with Bear, as I seriously need to do more leveling up...

Benoit's Slash Hand can decrease his attack power.

Yes... except that it never does... I'd rather halve his defence, but that never works either. Levelled everyone up to 50+ and still not getting close. I fear this may be the first ever animal king that I can't do in hard mode Thanks for your help, though, guys!

any of benoit's hands may be useful if they have at least a 20% chance to inflict their effect (and that, someone ele may be able to tell...)

OMG I did it! With Benoit's hands and everyone else throwing boxes of bugs at him and healing/reviving. If you don't hit him, then the worst he can do is KO one party member rather than retaliate and kill everyone. I DID IT!!!

nice, i didnt think of throwing bugs.. i beat him with pure strength and luck.. (dont have bear yet - bodken, marine, benoit, and abu) i have virtuoso belt on bodken and i used his melee skill.. and i used jeanine to boost and cure... took 4 tries.. (constantly reviving someone lol)

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! After months of not playing this game I have forgotten pretty much everything and of course I've forgotten that the Shoeking won't show up anymore after getting Bear! Now I have to do that entire Crest thing plus all that follows again! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why does that have to be time sensitive?
