Well, it starts in the sewers where Marine is sending lil Piu to register Soozookee, then comes the scene where Dragon shows up and tells Borgon that he's an idiot and finally the conversation between Borgon and the lords. So yes, in total it's pretty long and a lot to read at once.

Ah, I see. But for me it was easier to have them one after the other. The game's over anyway, so you have the time to read, as a player.

And I would also have the time to get back and level the bare hand skills, which during the game is quite annoying. But if you want to level them all (but Suzuki of course) you'd have to do that after the Crest, before getting back to the first world map because then you have only part of the party left.
And promotions ... if you haven't promoted all before crossing the Grand Rift, you won't get a chance anymore because on the worldmap with the Crest there's no shrine. I know you said promotions will also be possible in MM5, but I still prefer doing it in the previous game because I have a lot of money then that I need to spend anyway.

You are not supposed to level them all up already. MM5 is for that.

I can understand but reuniting after the ending would be a bit dangerous for me to allow without extratesting.
I also tend to think it's kinda breaking the atmosphere of urgency created by the ending.
