Just tried that one (2x hit before fight). It doesn't work.

I believe that this Random Hit before each fight has nothing to do with Promotion, you can choose this option with Marine "Strategy" skill (other choices are countering attacks and health regen).
With Shiva there are two hits before the fight instead of one, though.
(At least that's how it worked for me when I tried.)

My goodness, I thought the whole thing was so funny!

Cierra thought it was really cute how he was the one with the watch and the maps- totally like Benoit.
Cierra always wears a watch (I never do. I usually can guess the exact time to the minute. Though I am usually off by a few+::biggrin ) so she thought all the watch stuff was funny, especially since it was Benoit with the watch. Old Suzuki rebuking Benoit for "sewer talk" was really funny. And I loved how Merline and Piu-Piu saved the day. For some reason, it was especially funny when Piu-Piu came out of the hole in the wall before he had even got to the other side. LOL!

I forgot to try out "Mad Laughter" for OS. I'll have to try that next time when I replay.
