THAT sounds great!!! Whew!

LOL, poor beta testers!
But for us it will certainly be awesome!

HOORAY FOR AUTOSAVE!!! There is absolutely NOTHING that drives me battier while playing an RPG than to die in a fight and realize the last time I saved was ages ago.

To be honest, I prefer an autosave which happens when you first enter a map. To have an autosave after the last fight might still leave you in a horrible hole e.g out of the only healing item which cures whatever it is that is being inflicted on you. I speak from terrible first hand experience. To be even more honest, I prefer being able to choose exactly when I save, though I suppose paying a small MP price to save isn't too bad a compromise - unless it's the MP healing item that I've run out of! And now for the final bit of honesty - the chances of me running out of MP healing items are vanishingly small; I'm a chronic case of over caution in buying items, so I always finish the game with a huge number of spares. Irrespective of what logic/rationality might indicate, emotionally I believe that you can never, ever, ever have too many MP healing items.

I too buy a lot of regenerative items usually lol and don't forget you also have the bishop to save.

Lol, me too! I always buy loads of stuff and hardly ever use it.
In LF I fanatically searched anything and everything to find every possible item - and never ever used a single stat booster or spell book (not even for Alexandra at the ArenA - yes, really, it works without!) cause I always think I'll keep that stuff for someone who really needs it. And at the end of the game I still have everything in my inventory!

Anyway, I'd also prefer to save whenever I like without any restriction, but to be fair, so far buying items in Indy's games was never too big a problem. If MP restoring items are not too expensive so you can always buy enough, it should be ok.
Autosaves I don't consider a huge plus though. I've seen them in other games and never really used them. If I'm unlucky in a fight and want to replay it, they won't help unless I cancel the fight before it's over.

As for the bishops ... hopefully they are close to each other!

But apart from doing all the quests and stuff it's a special kind of success too!
Fighting the ArenA with Alexandra drove me nuts, but when she finally did it without the help of a spell book it was such a great feeling! +::YAY
