Fighting Cassandra

I can't figure out how to beat Cassandra the second time. I've equipped Jas with a weapon that causes paralysis, and Alex with the fan that causes all kinds of awful things, but they never take any effect on Cassandra. I feel like I've spent WAY too much time on this, and am at a total loss.

I used Alex, Luis, Nagam and Princess Lo in my second playthrough.

Alex - Charm LV2, like that the butchers won't bother you so much
Luis and Nagam - Kill the butchers before she can revive, you need to leave her alone for one turn in order for the link between them and Cassandra breaks. Equip Nagam with the Mace of the Gods, it will deal great damage
Princess Lo - Immaculate Radiation, this time she learned this spell.

Don't hesitate to use your most valuable healing items, as this is the last battle.

Thanks! I think I may have missed a big part of the game, if this is the final battle. I haven't solved the sick chickens quest yet because I haven't gotten to that island (Hope?). Did I miss something huge that I was supposed to do?

You can still complete that quest if you want.

have you found slainthe castle? the equipment you find in there KILLS in the last battle (especially barbara with the magvel, and clea with the archmage helmet thingie)

you find the map to the place with the chicken cure in there too, (check the sidequest list, first page)


apart from that, just remember, this battle is the absolute last, go out and buy 99 healing potions, 99 magical potions, etc etc (dont worry about cash, you find a great source from a map in slainthe castle)

dont worry about status effects, i dont think cassandra is affected.
