it seems i cannot get Melvut.

i spoke with him once when i first got to Excellion, but he did not join then.

now, after the house of wonders he is no longer in the hay stack. Any ideas?

Enso mentioned onece that you need to have a lot of animals with you. +::lol

tried party of 4 animals and a party of 3 or 2 animals. thoughts?

Have you been to see Reika in Izuka to get the Ferret quest ? then Melvut should be in that haystack.I had no animals in my party when i found him.

you need several wild animals with you (ie not the cow, for instance).

no, still no melvut. tried with bear, tiger, racoon, jordan or only wild animals - still no fox.
perhaps i can send my savefile for you to check?

hmmm maybe you have missed him for good?
did you try the first time you arrived in zander?

yes, i spoke with him the first time, but it was before i got the ferret quest, and now he is not there?
can you do something?

when you speak with him, if he doesn't join, then you've lost him.
