I have read in the forum that if you fight Malevodon minions - more specifically Bianca the Headmistress after Malevodon revives her - with little Shiro in your active party then he will learn the ability "Melancholy Washed"
I did it already ten times but nothing happens. What I am doing wrong?

Maybe someone else in your party learned it?
It's been a while since I played, but I think I remember that different people can learn different spells. Not sure though.

I have tried with all party members but nobody learned the specific skill after the second fight with the hotel head mistress (demon Malevodon revives her)
I am not refered to the skill "I can see you" which can be learned by many party members after you your first fight with the hotel head mistress (a random party member is touched by the ghost after the fight and learn the skill)

I also remembered that it gives you a spell after the first fight, but it didnt work this time. Strange.

I tried it a second time and it worked.. this time I had Jordan, Yu, Shiro, and Clea in the party, and she gave it to Shiro. Shiro says "the ghost touched me."

It doesn't always happen, but there's a good chance it does.
However, in all my playthroughs I never got a spell with the name in the title. What they get from Bianca is "I Can See You" and I personally prefer having it for Clea.

Ah, yes, you're right. It's "I can see you".

I would love to know where and how to get that "Melancholy Washed" though. I would think that someone must have gotten it or else it wouldn't have been mentioned. +::Dunno
