What does it depend on which weapon she comes with?
I know for sure that last time I played she brought a Diamond Tanto, but this time she came with a Scarlet Rod.
Does it just happen randomly or is there a trigger?

As far as I remember Alex has always started with a Scarlet Rod for me, but tbh, I've never made a specific note about her opening gear, so I may be wrong.

I did take a note, so I'm absolutely sure about this.
Dunno, maybe it has to do which school has been chosen?
Or it's really just random.
