My traveling party was attempting to find Alex (a female character in this game) and I have noticed several spots/areas in the game whereby "sparkles" appear in the background. Naturally, I walk my party over to these "sparkles" and click on them ... thinking that maybe there is a hidden room, or a hidden object - but NO ... there is not!

Can someone tell me what these "sparkles" are signifying? Thanx for your help.

I just started playing this game and still don't know all the characters
