I've seen somewhere here around this section that there is a character called Om to be found in the Oracle Shrine, as I don't remember if I can go back later to the shrine, I wanna know where is him/her?

I thought that it was in the room where there's another hourglass, which I missed in my first playthrough, but he/she isn't it and I fear that I will miss him if I leave the shrine.

From shrine D (3rd shrine)go up and 1st turn before you need the last hourglass) you will find a ghost Om you will need to read the old notebook (found in Stardust's house) in front of him for him to join you- hope that helps

I have read the book to free the ghost, and it turned into a demon, serving Jardel. All it did was to offer a reward for setting him free, and then nothing. He is not in the party?! What did I do wrong??

Did you read Stardust's notebook? You need to select it in the inventory when standing in front of the ghost.

If you got the dialogue saying that he will serve Jardel, then you did it right. Can you not get him using 'Party' from the main menu?

In response to both questions, the answer is yes.

Yes I used the notebook from the Items and yes I looked in the party, but he is not there.
Is it because I have gone back to get him after I had finished the area? And does Jardel need to be in the active group when the book is read?

It's a small glitch for people who find him with their party full it seems.
If you can send me your savefile I can add him manually.

I am having this problem too. However, when I added him my party was not full - I had only 3 members. So, how can I avoid this glitch?

If you take Om before the party reunites, you'll be fine. Otherwise you need to send me your savefile for a quick fix.

i got Om, but that only makes three in my party, and i'm find it impossible to beat the three snakes in the final section with just these these three. if i backtrack, will i find more party members?

It is obligatory (i.e. the game sets it up) that you start with a party of Jardel, Stardust and Calypso. If you got Om, then you must have 4 in the party.

However, your reference to "3 snakes" makes me wonder if you are referring to the section in the underground part of the Castle, after you have spoken with the Oracle???

The 3 snakes are a semi-boss in the underground part.

haha, i had two unused members i wasn't aware of, don't recommend fighting the snakes with three. thanks.
