Wind elemental

I left a question in the "help and questions" section 4 days ago and have not received any help so I decided to try here. my problem is The wind elemental is not where it is supposed to be. I have recruited stardust, Suzanna has earth spirit, fairy, and cocatrice. I bought the guide because I was tired of going through the maze over & over and not finding the wind elemental only to discover that the place it is supposed to be is empty. Please tell me what I need to do. Thanks

I don't remember exactly, but wasn't the Wind elemental only supposed to be there prior to recruiting Stardust?

I don't think so. When I read the guide, it talks about getting stardust in your group and, on the next page, it talks about fighting the wind elemental. There is nothing in the guide about the elemental being found predicated on the finding of stardust.
