Because I just can't leave this alone before I go out of town. I know, I'm obsessed. How do I get that darned cat out of the wall? Do I need to buy a fish somewhere? Do I borrow a dog?

You do need to buy something, but it's not in the town, so you can move on without worrying about missing something. And you'll know exactly what it is when you see it.

was gonna try it out, but I got shipped out before I could get there +::grrr

Have the guide, but don't want to use it until I finish this first time through +::biggrin

So...my question now is...is there a time limit on this one?

nope, not time limited. the cat is stubborn and will stay forever in the hole till hell freezes over +::biggrin

At first, I was thinking of the possibility of borrowing the bookseller's pet rat to lure the cat out....but never got the right prompts for that. Just happened to go into an item shop (not in New Haven) and voila! An item for the kitty! I was so proud to have figured this one out on my own, went back to New Haven to get the stubborn feline....and got shipped to Claw Island. Dang! But I was able to take care of the kitty later. Fun quest, Indy; not too hard, not too easy! +::Dance
