I don't think anyone has the right to judge what's "good enough". We all here know that Indy is putting a lot of effort into his games.
He has often stated that he's not setting release dates before he's sure he can keep them. But people keep asking for guesses and of course he has to say something so as not to ignore or disappoint the people who ask. But that's not the same as "promising" something. Imho we should just let him do his work without putting pressure on him all the time.
The thing is, I can totally understand the impatience. It is flattering, in a way.
But you can't have the best of both worlds. If you want a game where the dev has attempted to clean all the bugs and polished every aspect, it may take time. Throw in that real life is not always as peaceful as the surface of a quiet lake... Then you realize we can just give possibilities of release dates. As in, part of a conversation with the dev, nothing else.
