Boreal Light is the item that makes Jeanne be able to cast Mega-Boost. Perfumed Aquifolium improves her Aura. Marine had those but Benoit didn't...

Yes, now I know. When I made my last post I had just been through the pit with Marine's party. Now I know what yo meant.
Well, I guess that's on purpose. Jeanne said she'll do her best but can't do as much anymore as she ususally does for Marine.

I'm in the pit with Benoit's party as well and can't beat the Ork party... Mind sending me your save?

EDIT: Nevermind the save, give me strategy. My party is Benoit, Jez, Bokden and Suzuki. They all hit some hit-all attacks and My party's HP drops to half. And they are all low HP characters...

My party is Benoit, Jez, Suzuki and Jack. I thought Benoit with Virtuoso Belt is good enough to make up for the rest, but seems I was wrong. Well, I'm not gonna start over, so they'll have to get through this somehow .......

Well you're on normal and frankly, Bokden is better than Jack so you're party is worse than mine. But maybe I should give the virtuoso Belt from Suzuki to Benoit... I'll try until I beat them!!! Thanks Cassie!

Darn, I'm stupid. Of course I've encountered the orcs! *facepalm* And they killed me several times!
I think I was just lucky in the end. I had Jeanne boost their defense first, then their speed, hoping to evade more hits (and it sort of worked ... sometimes).
And I had Benoit hit as much as he could. Jack had to anger them (cause although it increases their ST it also decreases their RS a lot) and Suzuki would make them tired with his spell.
Apart from that I was just trying to keep alive and hit whenever possible.

Thanks dear Cassie but I've did it! I had Suzuki anger them instead, gave Benoit the Virtuoso Belt and then whacked away Now I'm progressing and soon enough I'll be with Karine's party before I know it, then I'll have passed you

I have encountered another strange glitch. Didn't find any other post on this, so I wonder if I'm the only one who has that problem.
As soon as the showdown starts the font of the dialogues is extremely huge (and also a different font). At first I thought it's on purpose because the Sage might be talking loudly, but then I saw that half of the lines is cut off. I can't read those dialogues.

Ok.I played on easy mode,after the Pit the character screen shows hard mode and while i was at the showdown it shows normal mode!
