Benoit does that for the first 2 fights...

And it is quite easy actually. Make sure to use trick with chars like OS or Marine.

Well,if it's such a piece of cake on easy mode,i'm sure it must be doable on normal mode (or are you on hard mode?)

A small piece of advise i can give you,if you haven't done that already,is this:
When you are on the Ancient Myst map,just before you enter the showdown,move your party members around and have Salome cast Prayer on everyone.The Blessing status carries through to the showdown and lasts for the first 2-3 rounds depending on the characters movements.It's not much but a small boost on stats is always welcome!Also have Salome cast Meditation on herself for a decent resistance boost (it lasts only for the first round).

Well, right now I'm just letting things happen and wait for my inevitable doom. As much as I enjoyed the rest of the game, this is making me so angry right now! I'd love to SMASH something!
@Loofy - I did try to trick so many times already, but I think so far it worked only once - while of course it always works when THEY do it.

Well don't try to trick people like Dragon or Gabriel, it almost never works. If you want I can give you my notes on tricking.

It certainly will be for the next time I'm going through the showdown.
I'm having a little hope again now. It's 49:42 for them, but it's just a little more than half of the showdown over. So I can still catch up.
