Curious, I started making a list of Animal Kings in MM5 and I found quite a few... but I don't know how many of them are... so, how many?

Good question. I play normal mode. It said at the end that I only found 5 out of 7. So obviously there are 7 for normal.

I think it's 8 then, I remember someone saying that Monkey-See-Monkey-Do is the only available in hard mode.

Do you happen to know which ones?
I got:
The nation
Abu's group killed the worm by the water and 2 huge apes, which I am not sure if they are animal kings.
Blondie's group killed one when they pressed the button
Marine's group killed one in the cave/house thing
Not sure the one in the cave Salome's group killed was one or not.

What else am I missing?

The 2 Glurose
Monkey-See-Monkey-Do
Metallicrab
Tukulu Nation
Dumberork
and Hippoquake. There are 7 in Hard Mode...

Yes only in Hard Mode you get the chance to fight all of them.

Only 2 Gluroses? Felt like I kept fighting them.
What about the one we are supposed to lose to in order to get to the secret room? Hope that we don't have to chose between a boss and a secret room.

That is a Glurose and when you exit the secret room, the glurose gets killed and you get a quest

You get the secret room and killed Glurose, but I guess (don't know for sure) you won't get the exp for defeating it

Miniglurs are NOT Gluroses

Indi..........sorry but I honestly kinda dissapointed with similiar animal kings such as Sir Honey and Queen Bee (the both are bees) and this time even same animal kings, because the animal kings are one of my favorite, i guess there's many other animals don't have their kings, perhaps like dinasour king.

Hmmm the Kings in MM5 also feature totally new ones like Glurose.

Should have included the "doppleganger" Venona, too I can just imagine the giant "eye" necklace she's been losing pieces each time we meet in the Pit

That Giant Spider in the Firth of Fourth for antidote quest in MM4 was a "doppelgänger" too

I always find it so funny to see how German words sneak into the English language!
