And can someone please explain to me what happened?

I have the boat, decided to go back to some of my old haunts and when I exited the ruined castle I was left with Sebastian, bel and liza and the two girls being locked whilst Gallow and Drake were taken out of my party (and I lost a lot of inventory) and now I can't have the original party I left the castle with because Bel is locked in place and can't remove her.

Not that I don't like Sebastian but I was wanting to level up a couple of other party members.

seems like a glitch to me, I'll get it fixed but I would recommend not saving or returning to a previous savefile.

that said, can you tell me where exactly it happened?

Thank you Indinera though not saving? I usually save before I get off the computer/want to play another game/whatever...

And it happened when I exited the old castle ruins, I just did the dungeon like normal, got to the main part of the castle and then when I had finished killing a few monsters I exited like usual (after reading the letter.)

You mean the sparkling spot on that kind of cupboard in the bedroom?
