I guess it was luck and Cassie's levels were about 5 higher compared to mine... That should be it. +::biggrin

yes the game puts every savefile in normal mode so that the showdown is the same for everyone.

and that means, well, you got quite crushed ahahah

Well, if it's intentional that the game switches to Normal Mode, then there shouldn't be a bug. We just didn't know that it WAS intentional, so we thought it might be a bug.

Well for your info......got 85 in the 12th round :razz:

Had to replay at least 5 times to keep stretching it out to the 13th round +::lol

Nice chance to experiment with everything else +::lol

Got more surprise wins by luck +::biggrin

I wanted to be prepared, so I levelled all my characters to level 99 and my first score was 85. Then it was 84 once I found out that there are multiple endings. Loosing some matches intentionally can be quite annoying, though, especially when Benoit used Adrenaline Rush.

My first try I got 85. That was quite an ending as well. Second time, I had to lose several rounds and came out with 84 to get the true ending.

Prepared????? We had no idea how you were going to set it up +::fear

and to figure out how to utilize the skills...took a while. If it weren't for The Bear, Bokden, Karine, Grandpa, Abu and Hirado at the beginning...I'd never catch up. Talk about STRESS!!!! +::biggrin

But since I kind of figured it out a bit...got to fly by them from the 5th round +::YAY

So going to get them really prepped to the max and see how the underlings do this time +::biggrin

Have to admit...Benoit came around after the stage-fright with his adrenaline rush kicking in +::whistle

Well, the tutorial didn't reveal a lot. I guess everyone so far was a bit lost at the beginning of the showdown. It would have been immensely helpful to know at least some of the weak points from the start. The fights are over so fast, it takes a lot of time to find out a bit about the opponents. Like who can be tricked. For instance I would have guessed that Gabriel can be easily tricked. He doesn't quite look like the fastest guy with his big belly! But nope, no chance to trick him!
You only encounter each of them once per round though, so it takes many rounds until you get a glimpse of what skill would be usefull.
I'd say you're at least 1/3 through the showdown before you can handle the skills better. And that can be a very frustrating third. So with some hints on weak points from the start it wouldn't have been SO frustrating.
