I have been back to Samhain twice and have yet to find any key's for the locked chests...does it have something to do with the sword? P.S. Onyx is amazing, and has me just as excited as the LF series

I can't speak for the whole game, as I still haven't finished it but I've already found the Werewolf Key near the bookstacks. Originally the keys all appeared at once after a certain scene, but it seems like Indy changed it so they're apportioned out at individual times.

The keys are sparkles and are often on tables, or as said earlier, one is hiding in a bookcase, pretending to be a portal.

Is there a list of what keys fit which chest (and in which dungeon)? I have a few keys now and am having trouble remembering where I need to return to.

I have the Werewolf Key and the Gryphon Feather Key. Already used the Gypsy Key, that one was obvious.

There is one, now.

Mother's Key=found in Nimue's Grotto (Samhain House), near the sword. Opens the chest outside Rowen's cabin.
Werewolf Key=bookstacks, opens the chest inside Tyber's forest cabin in Greythatch.
Gypsy's Key=table in Samhain, near Grotto entrance, opens the chest at the Gypsy Campsite (where you first met Baba and Raven)
Honey Kitty Key=table in Samhain, near where Baba is standing, opens the chest in the Crone's Guild, in Hexewasser, near where Endora had the party arrested.
Gryphon's Slayer Key=on the table, where Raven is sitting, opens chest in Haunted Fort, just south of the kitchen (there's a scene with the ghosts there.)
Harlequin Key= in the reflecting pool in Samhain, opens chest in Classroom 3, Melas College.

I was wondering when the "Mother's Key" shows up. I have finished the game, but never got it. I kept checking for it by the sword, but it was never there.

I too cant find the "Mother's Key". Did anyone else got it and when?

Once you can enter the seaside tunnel you can go back and get the Mother's key. What you get from the chest is not even worth going ALL the way back to get.
